The Revd Bill Jackson, former Curate, is to be Instituted to the Parish of Burnham, Buckinghamshire, on the 8th of July. Some of our parishioners are travelling South to give moral support.
BANNER FRAME We are grateful to Mr Peter Elliott and his brother for erecting a new frame to house our precious Miners' Banner in St Ives. It took a lot of expert work and is beautifully made. We shall have a dedication ceremony shortly to be announced.
NEW WALK A new walk is to be provided by UK Coal on the former site of their recent excavations in Leadgate. New Trees are to be planted and a new footway, enabling people to walk the Valley on former farm land. This should add to the beauty of our area.
